Craig is a professional guitarist and teacher based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. A graduate of the prestigious Guitar Institute Craig holds a BMus (Hons) degree in Popular Music Performance and an LRSL in Music Tuition. Whilst there, he was lucky enough to study under Iain Scott (Brian Wilson, Frank Gambale), Dario Cortese (Larry Carlton, Pete Vettese, Albert Lee), Lee Hodgson (Odyssey, Stevet Cherelle Band, Billy Curtis Band) and Chris Newland (Sister Sledge, Odyssey, Mick Ronson). 

He has performed thousands of gigs as a solo performer, rock ’n’ roll function guitarist, theatre musician and general side man! These experiences have taken him all over the world as well as UK theatre tours and countless wedding and corporate events. 


As founding member and band leader of Bandit, Heatwave, Vogue and Tryst Craig maintains a full time gigging schedule of private events working closely with some of the top UK agencies. Outside of being a busy performer Craig is an in demand Guitar tutor with 10 years of experience. He has previously taught at  the industry leading Fusion Music School, The Cavendish School, and Abbots Hill School. Currently he teaches private 1:1 lessons out of his studio in Hemel Hempstead to students of all ages and abilities. Using top of the range and bespoke teaching materials Craig creates an inspirational tuition programme and takes great pride in helping students reach their aims.

What You'll Learn

I pride myself on delivering a curriculum specifically tailored to the student whilst incorporating key musicianship skills throughout. Both casual tuition and Rockschool exam routes are catered for as well as G.C.S.E / A Level performance prep and Duke of Edinburgh Awards, with current students holding a 100% merit or above pass rate. You will have access to extensive teaching materials include transcriptions of over 500 popular songs across all styles so you can study the songs that you know and love!
